Infaprim, in partnership with the Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology (FRCC ICMR) and K+31 Medical Center, organized a three-day masterclass entitled “Nutritional Support for Patients with Acute Cerebrovascular Accident at All Stages of Rehabilitation” for specialists in neurology, including neurologists, dietitians, and speech and language therapists.

The educational event was dedicated to the rehabilitation and nutritional support of patients who had experienced acute cerebrovascular disorders. Its purpose was not only to provide a theoretical overview of the topic but also to demonstrate practical approaches and patient management protocols used during the recovery process.

The masterclass was held over three days: one day at the Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology and two days at K+31 Medical Center. Participants attended lectures delivered by specialists from both institutions and took part in guided tours of the clinical departments.

Why were these centers chosen as venues for the masterclass? The decision was based on several key factors:

Clinical environment. Participants were able to see not only the theory presented in lectures and on slides, but also the real-world conditions in which nutritional support becomes an integral part of everyday clinical and rehabilitation practice.

Opportunity to demonstrate multidisciplinary collaboration. The centers provided an opportunity to showcase how specialists from different disciplines work together throughout the treatment and rehabilitation process.

Technical and material resources. Both institutions possess the facilities, equipment, and resources necessary to support high-quality patient care and rehabilitation.

The masterclass brought together physicians from different cities across Russia, including Krasnodar, Voronezh, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, Kazan, and Novosibirsk.

We are pleased that we were once again able to support the medical community by providing colleagues with an opportunity to visit modern specialized centers, exchange professional experience, and expand their knowledge and expertise.
